Working within the Industrial Quality Solutions (IQS) department, at ZEISS, we are looking for a highly motivated C#/C++ Software Developer to work within our teams.

You will join the international team developing hardware abstraction layer code for best-in-class measurement machines used for industrial quality control.

Furthermore, the following will await you with us:

You will implement new optical and tactile measuring technologies:

You will develop the logic for acquiring data with different sensor types and algorithms for processing these data to report qualified measuring values to metrology applications

You will be responsible for all aspects of software development, from technical specification to concept development, design, implementation, testing, technical documentation and mentoring of team members

You enjoy identifying reusable components of a software system for optimal modularization and designing corresponding solutions

You write high-quality code and check the quality with unit, integration, and acceptance tests

You will work with multinational team of hardware and software experts

What we expect from you:

Degree in Computer Science / Natural Science / Engineering or similar field

5 years of professional experience as a software developer

Professional experience with C# and modern C++

Good to very good knowledge of English language in speech and writing

Occasional business trips between our offices in Poland and Germany

Additional advantage will be: 

Experience with multithreading on CPU and GPU (CUDA or OpenCL)

Experience with image processing and metrology software

Ideally familiarity with Clean Code, TDD, Design Patterns, SOLID principles
