C# Developer - Senior Associate

Job Description:

Senior Developer with strong background in C# and .NET frameworks, a passion for developing high-quality software solutions, and experience in building enterprise-level applications in insurance and financial domains. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects in the insurance, finance, and actuarial domains, utilizing both traditional and modern development approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and deploy robust applications and systems using C# and .NET technologies, experience with low-code, metadata configuration-based development, and event-driven architecturesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop technical solutions, and deliver high-quality software.Build and maintain web applications using ASP.NET, MVC, and Web API.Develop and optimize database solutions using SQL Server or other relational databases.Work with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular or React (optional but preferred).Experience implementing CI/CD processes to enhance software delivery and deployment.Leverage cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS for application hosting and services.Implement best practices in object-oriented programming, design patterns, and coding standards.Exposure to financial and actuarial project development, leveraging knowledge of the insurance and financial sectors.Work collaboratively with the team to troubleshoot issues, optimize system performance, and ensure system reliability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.5 to 9 years of experience in software development, focusing on C# and .NET frameworks.Proficiency in object-oriented programming and design patterns.Hands-on experience with web technologies such as ASP.NET, MVC, and Web API.Strong understanding of database design and development, especially with SQL Server.Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.Basic knowledge of the financial sector, capital markets, and insurance industry is required.Finance and/or actuarial project experience is highly preferred.Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
