C# Software Engineers

Our client requires multiple software engineers with strong C# backend non-database full lifecycle application development experience. Successful candidate will be self-driven and have proven ability to work independently and deliver results. Experience in control systems, embedded devices, industrial protocols, and SCADA. The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of industrial protocols and/or embedded devices in Linux environment will be an asset but is not mandatory. Experience in oil & gas and/or instrumentation will also be an asset.  Candidates with above qualifications but less experience may be considered for a junior role.

This position is onsite near government center in Edmonton.

Mandatory Requirements Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering Very Strong experience in C# backend non-database full lifecycle application development Strong experience with Docker Proven ability to work independently Proven ability to design and deliver solutions from concepts and ideas

 

Desirable Requirements Master or PhD in computer engineering or related fields Experience C# programming in Linux and embedded systems environment is highly desirable Strong experience with control systems, SCADA, embedded devices, or industrial protocol especially with DNP3 Experience with instrumentation, monitoring, or flow measurement Experience with WPF application development, Developer Express component library Oil & gas experience Experience with Mender Instrumentation experience Experience with Rockwell instrumentation, motor drive, Power Flex, and Rockwell automation Experience with ACE, WPS, Developer Express Experience with industrial protocols such as ENIP (Ethernet IP), MODBUS, OPC-UA, MQTT, WITSML Experience with PLC programming
