Description: We are seeking a C-17 Repair and Modification Technician. If you thrive on challenges and have a knack for aerospace innovation, this is the opportunity for you! Position Responsibilities: + Assemble, disassemble, and modify aerospace vehicle components. + Oversee assembly, disassembly, or overhaul. + Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment. + Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. + Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components. + Document procedures to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance. + Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness. Required Qualifications: + Ability to obtain security clearance + Minimum of 3 years' experience in repair, maintenance, and retrofit processes. + Minimum of 3 years' experience reading and interpreting technical publications and maintenance manuals. + Ability to pass Ground Operations Personnel (GOP) and air respirator medical physicals and maintain qualification/certification. Preferred Qualifications: + Active Secret Clearance + Minimum 3 years of C-17 platform experience. + Ability to analyze and develop maintenance plans. + Experience conducting maintenance debriefs and verifying work. + Ability to maintain and create metrics. + Capable of implementing corrective actions. + Ability to perform root cause analysis. + Ability to meet C-17 Fall Protection System weight requirements (<225 lbs). + Experience with multi-system operations, maintenance, and repair. + Strong decision-making and interpersonal skills. Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance is Required to be considered for this role.
