The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Lead to join the C-17 Field Services Team at RAAF Base Amberley west of Brisbane. The Supply Chain Lead will ensure seamless execution of supply chain activities in support of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) and C-17 Virtual Fleet partners.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership to the local C-17 Supply Team including contract execution, performance, safety and quality.Utilise supply chain expertise to sustain a high level of availability to meet customer operational tempo, this includes after-hours support.Manage Aircraft Operationally Grounded (AOG) requests for the RAAF and Virtual Fleet partnersMonitor contractual KPIs, Investigate supply chain problems, determine root cause, and develop and implement corrective actionsProven ability to research, analyse and develop creative and innovative supply solutions to complex, novel logistics support problemsExperience/Qualifications
Experience within dynamic high priority global supply chains. Specifically, the movement and tracking of high value assets through the supply pipeline from source to end user.Demonstrated experience in the leadership and management of spares in aviation related supply chain services environments. Specifically logistics management, inventory management and warehousing disciplines.Sound knowledge of Import, Export and Global Trade Control policies and procedures including ITARApplicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirementsCulture
