Job Summary:
Are you passionate about programming and tackling complex physical and mathematical challenges? Do you thrive on designing and building high-performance software? Altair Engineering is seeking a skilled C/C++ Developer (f/m/d) with expertise in developing advanced simulation tools and a strong background in electromagnetic theory to contribute to the development of Altair's high-frequency electromagnetic solvers.
What You Will Do:
Collaborate with leading electromagnetics solver experts to design, implement, and optimize C/C++ algorithms, driving new features and enhancing the performance and capabilities of Altair Feko.Partner closely with Product Management and Quality Assurance teams to deliver cutting-edge extensions to Altair's electromagnetic simulation tools, ensuring they reach the market on time and with high quality.
What You Will Need:
Degree in Electrical Engineering/Information Technology or otherAt least 2 - 3 years of expertise in C/C++ software development (with a focus on computational software development)Proven track record of delivering high-quality software projects on timeExperience developing software for Microsoft Windows and LinuxBasic knowledge of electromagnetics and an interest in electromagnetics applicationsMust be self-motivated, inquisitive and able to work without a lot of guidance as well as part of a team
