The role we are offering you:

Your role will consist in supporting a Test specialist in test documents’ development and execution on simulators. We are looking for a candidate who likes working autonomously with minimum supervision, who can demonstrate leadership and who can communicate his/her test results to engineers working on the simulator’s design and integration.

Participate in the development of full-flight simulators’ acceptance test plans and qualification documents, under the supervision of a Test engineer.

Use computer-based tools to create/improve test documents to optimize simulators’ acceptance and qualification

Occasionally, perform functionality tests on various aircraft systems in flight simulators.

Report test results to various teams

Use aircraft technical documentation, like the flight Crew Operations Manual, to provide engineering support to software developers, test pilots and customers.

Being part of a team of test engineers and pilots, you will have to interact with people from many different backgrounds and specialties.

Our ideal candidate has:

Interest for aviation or qualification in flying.

Priority will be given to candidates with a flying license (Private, Commercial, fixed or rotary wing)

Sense of initiative and ability to work independently.

Great communication skills.

Good organizational and interpersonal skills.

Effective time management; autonomous and responsible.

Good attention to detail, team spirit, able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Self-starter.

Very good knowledge of French and English.

Preferred Education

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in electrical, physics or mechanical engineering degree (specialization in aeronautics, an asset) 3rd or 4th year completed.

Location of the internship is in Montreal, QC.

Internship will be carried out in hybrid mode.

*All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.
