As an Operations Improvement Consultant, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between current operations and future business needs, ensuring smooth transitions and effective coordination across teams, customers, and third-party partners (3PP). You will assess process gaps, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and develop frameworks and documentation to support operational readiness.
What you will do:
Consulting and Stakeholder Engagement: Actively engage with stakeholders as a business consultant to identify improvement opportunities that drive shareholder value.
Business Case Development: Develop comprehensive financial and operational business cases for improvement plans, including investment needs, ROI, and other key financial and business metrics.
Bridge Current and Future Operations: Assess gaps in processes and systems, identifying areas where changes are needed to align with future goals and ways of working.
Strategy Implementation: Collaborate with teams to ensure mutual understanding of effort, cost structures, and resource requirements, aligning with customer expectations for new service offerings.
Documentation & Reporting: Develop and maintain documentation for process changes, including agreements with internal stakeholders on key deliverables.
Process Improvement: Regularly evaluate and recommend improvements to operational readiness processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
The skills you bring:
Education: MBA, Operations Management, or a related field.
Experience: Proven track record in leading operational and functional improvements in a large, complex organization, ideally within the telecom sector.
Analytical Skills: Ability to identify improvement opportunities and develop actionable solutions.
Change Management: Skilled in engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels to drive change.
Communication & Presentation: Strong consultative communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey the benefits of proposed changes.Project Management: Demonstrated success in managing transformation initiatives on time and within budget.KPI Knowledge: Experience in deploying key performance indicators to monitor and improve business performance.Consultative Skills: Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to communicate complex concepts across organizational levels, from working-level staff to senior leadership.Multi-Project Management: Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing business needs.Negotiation & Influence: Strong negotiation skills, with storytelling abilities to simplify complex information effectively.Digital Expertise: Experience with digital platforms and process digitization is a plus.Values & Culture Champion: Embody Ericsson’s values to foster a collaborative, respectful, and innovative team environment.Operational Readiness & Process Improvement: Demonstrated expertise in operational readiness, business process improvement, or service delivery within the telecom industry.Training Coordination: Experience coordinating training programs for both internal and external stakeholders.
