C-GE-016 Unity 3D Integration Intern

The role we are offering you:

By joining our Virtual Training Frameworks and Graphics team, you will have the opportunity o participate in the development of virtual cockpits used in our flight simulators delivered to CAE’s clients worldwide.

Are you ready to:

Integrate 3D virtual cockpits, ready for virtual reality, using the Unity game engine;

Coordinate work with 3D artists who model the cockpits;

Produce production plans (identifying status, risks, etc.) for the project at higher hierarchical levels;

Participate in the integration and testing of virtual cockpits on Simfinity flight simulators (SimfinityXR, 400XR, 500XR, etc.);

Interact with simulation software developers, tutorial developers, project managers, and test engineers.

Our ideal candidate has:

Strong knowledge of Unity (including materials and lighting);

Knowledge of 3D modeling and Blender (an asset);

Knowledge of C# programming in the Unity context (an asset);

Good communication and teamwork skills;

Good versatility.

Preferred Education

Pursuing a college or an undergraduate degree in interactive media and/or video games or related field

Location of the internship is Montreal.

Internship will be carried out in hybrid mode.

*All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.

*Please take note that if you are on a student, work or international student permit, the delays for the security background check take minimum 16 weeks.
