The position will closely collaborate with the Residential Regional Sales Managers and C&I FAEs, Product Group, Trainer, Field Marketing Specialist and Customer Service. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving C&I revenue by forming and developing strong business relationships with the national commercial entities that invest in solar for their business long term, as well as the developers and partners that these Commercial Entities contract (EPCs, Developers, Asset Managers, ect). The ideal candidate has deep commercial solar sales experience and a unique blend of business, finance, technical, partnership, and leadership skills. S/he will establish plans and strategies to expand the Enphase C&I business by pushing our C&I solution “from the top down” with a heavy focus on National Commercial Enterprises which invest in solar. The position is a home office position.What you will doIdentify, convert, and serve national asset owners and partners (National C&I developers, National C&I portfolio owners, and Commercial Enterprises that invest in solar)Develops and executes go-to market plan with Commercial Enterprise stakeholders (EPCs and Installers) using segmentation, primary target market definition and value proposition to create target listsCollaborate with and coach existing sales team in developing and closing sub-portfolios owned by national C&I developers and C&I enterprisesCreates and executes 6 quarter forecasts and reports weekly and monthly on sales and opportunities statusPartners with C&I training and Field marketing to deploy C&I training and eventsWorks with FAE & Customer Service to represent the voice of the customer in order to develop the right products for Americas C&IWho you are and what you bringSuccessful track record of C&I solar sales to installers requiredSuccessful track record of working with Commercial Enterprises on solar development preferredProven ability to gain a price premium through consultative solution selling, tailoring pitch and value proposition to the unique wants and needs of each stakeholder in the solar development process (Investor, EPC, Developers, O&M, Asset Management, Owner/Offtaker)Possesses a minimum of 5-10 years C&I sales experience to direct and channel partners as well as Commercial Enterprises and OfftakersDemonstrably strong negotiation and influencing skills; commercially astuteEntrepreneurial personality with a hands-on attitudeDemonstrates strategic vision and planning capabilitiesUnderstands, with clarity, key internal/external business and technical issuesQuantitative and results driven professional who can adapt to rapidly changing environmentsSalesforce experience a plus30-50% travelThe on target earning (OTE) range for this position for Bay Area candidates is $145,000 to $200,000 per year. This OTE range may be modified in the future. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, education or training, work location, and market conditions. This position is also eligible for equity and benefits.
