The role we are offering you:
By joining our team as a quality assurance specialist, you will have the opportunity to help us make a difference in customer satisfaction and experience across a range of applications. You will participate in the design and execution of test plans to ensure the quality and performance of our digital products and ensure they meet objectives and quality standards. The application quality assurance specialist works within a cross-functional team with the product manager, designers, and lead developer to develop and deploy our digital products. You will be involved from the start in developing test plans, creating automated tests, identifying issues, and tracking them.
Our ideal candidate has:
Knowledge in planning test strategies according to requirements
Ability to execute tests within a continuous integration process
Knowledge of tools used in automation for testing web, mobile applications, and APIs
Ability to identify, analyze, and document application anomalies
Knowledge of agile engineering practices and software quality assurance
Good communication skills
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Education:
Currently pursuing a college or university degree in computer science or any other related field
Location of the internship is in Montreal
Internship will be carried out hybrid mode
*All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.
*Please take note that if you are on a student, work or international student permit, the delays for the security background check take minimum 16 weeks.
