SSOE is looking to hire a C&Q Agent to join our team of experts in delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of advanced industrial, semiconductor, biotech, healthcare, and pharmaceutical facilities for the world’s leading high-tech companies. You will work closely with our clients, engineering teams, and other professionals to ensure that projects meet and exceed industry standards. If you have a passion for cutting-edge technology, your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the quality, compliance, and innovation of our designs. This position will be a hybrid position, requiring occasional onsite work. Fully remote or travel work arrangements for this role are not available.
Responsibilities Support commissioning and qualification activities from project initiation to closeout.Perform detailed field commissioning services for all types of facilities including laboratories, cleanrooms, manufacturing, and pilot plants.Review functional, design and testing documentation from suppliers/contractors to ensure compliance to cGMP and Good Documentation Practices.Develop and execute protocols, including travel to project sites for multiple days. Current projects are located in Southeast US. Prefer someone local to Atlanta. Review the Vendor/Contractor quality documentation for completeness and correctness and coordinate activities to ensure compliance to the C&Q plan.Assist in preparing detailed User Requirements Specifications (URS), Commissioning & Qualification Plans and Specifications, installation checklists and functional test procedures.Prepare and execute commissioning and qualification protocols and provide supplemental testing documentation above that provided by the Suppliers/Contractors. Participate in FAT, SAT, startup, IQ and OQ activities and prepare related reports. Qualifications Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience with building systems, including HVAC, chillers, BMS, boilers, lighting and electrical systems or have worked either as building support or construction staff in labs, manufacturing, or pharma/med device. A plus is experience with clean systems such as DI water, WFI, clean steam, cleanrooms, and gases. Good organizational and planning skills with the ability to plan the execution of the C&Q process.Ability to develop strong working relationships with the internal and external stakeholders and works well within a collaborative team environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Experience coordinating with both owners and contractors as well as the ability to lead project meetings are necessary.Ability to read and understand building drawings, specifications, and submittals, including P&IDs.Must be proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
