Position Summary:

Performs technical aspects of CT that ultimately lead to completed procedures with complete clinical history. Operates equipment in a filmless environment, administering medical x-rays on injured and/or sick patients as directed by physicians following accepted protocols and policies.  Checks the technical aspects of exams to determine the exactness of position and technique, assists radiologists as needed, prepares study for interpretation, and provides quality patient care.

Education: 

Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) and certified by the state of Texas, Certified Medical Technologist (CMT) with specialty registry in Computerized Tomography RT (R), (CT).

Training and Experience:

A minimum of one-year CT experience.  Current BLS certification through American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
