GovCIO is currently hiring for a C2 Radio and Airfield Systems Planner. This position will be located in Shaw AFB, SC and will be an on-site position.
ResponsibilitiesProvide C2 radio and airfield systems support. The contractor shall:
Perform C2 system integration;Coordinate with higher HQ staff to identify and resolve technology limitations, maintenance and depot issues, and deliver reliable air navigational equipment to the Combined Forces Air Component Commander, Air Operations Center, and CENTCOM Southwest Asia (SWA) theater bases;Plan and implement systems upgrades to integrate emerging technologies throughout SWA;Implement projects to improve the reliability and operational effectiveness of deployed tactical and commercial C2 systems;Assist and monitor resources for C2 systems projects and submit recommendations for future requirements;Manage the Joint Radio Relay System network/architecture throughout the CENTCOM AOR;Manage projects and new requirements to improve the reliability, logistics supportability, and operational effectiveness of support to deployed tactical radio, wireless, and Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems communications systems;Coordinate with staff functions to obtain necessary supplies, equipment, and personnel resources to rectify technical and sustainment problems in supported deployed units;Provide analysis and recommend methods to improve equipment performance and maintenance procedures;Coordinate radio communications system and network upgrades to integrate emerging technologies into deployed locations. QualificationsHigh School with 3 - 6 years (or commensurate experience)
Clearance Required: Secret
High School diploma or GEDAssociate level experience in planning and scheduling project tasks; gathering and analyzing information to prepare status reports; ensuring assignment and scheduling of work follows policies; evaluating current procedures and recommending changes to improve efficiency of planning and scheduling of projects5 years ‘experience with managing, supervising, and coordinating military communication systems; planning and implementing activities; managing communication architecture, configuration, and integration conformity; working and communicating with military officersMust possess excellent interpersonal skill PMP or similar work experience

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
