Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented C2BMC Principal Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to provide C2BMC SETA support directly to the C2BMC material development lead and government staff. You will participate in engineering agile development meetings for the government customer and provide engineering product development updates, analysis and failure review summaries, and make recommendations.
What You'll Be Doing:
Provide interoperability engineering, analysis, and product development for C2BMC in coordination with other MDS Elements
Participate in external capability integration and interface design efforts between MDA/BC, BC contractors, and other MDS Elements
Provide technical duties for developing, integrating, engineering, testing, training, cyber security, and event readiness for C2BMC ground testing
Provide project management and technical/engineering support of C2BMC products in an Agile Development environment
Participate in/run Agile development meetings
Support program and budgetary preparations and reviews
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Masters Degree in STEM field and 12+ years experience working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program / project
Works independently and/or leads teams to analyze and resolve problems
Familiarity with Agile Software Development processes and product development timelines
Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency, Ballistic Missile Defense System, and/or C3BM Program Office work efforts
Proficiency in system engineering and execution processes
Ability to develop and present reports and presentations to senior management-level personnel; exceptional written and verbal skills required
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Military experience is a plus
Self-starter with enthusiasm and capacity to learn in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently within a dynamic environment
Ability to work within a collaborative environment composed of Government, prime contractor, sub-contractor and supporting contractor personnel in a badge-less contractor environment
