THE JOB
The Concessions Manager oversees key aspects of the food and beverage programs for the C3 portfolio of festivals. Primary responsibilities include data collection and analysis, concessionaire management, and operations support. The Concessions Manager also supports the food and beverage team in implementing strategies for achieving department goals. The position requires coordination with internal departments and third-party providers to ensure the food and beverage programs are executed successfully.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Data Analysis
Data analysis is the foundation for measuring performance and developing profit-driven strategies. The Concessions Manager is responsible for a range of data collecting, processing and reporting. This includes:
Downloading data received from concessionaire reporting templates, point-of-sale systems and other sources, and creating a variety of reports on a timely basisAnalyzing data in order to measure KPIs and forecast trendsCommunicating findings via informative and easy-to-understand charts and insightful commentary.Concessionnaire Management
The Concessions Manager interacts with the third-party concessionaires in meaningful ways, including:
Assisting with menu developmentCoordinating with the legal department to create and execute service agreementsReviewing settlement reports and reconciling them against POS reportsManaging internal billbacksFacilitating communication between concessionaire and internal departments on non-revenue food and beverage needsOperations
The Concessions Manager plays an active role in supporting the on-site activities of the food and beverage concessionaires, namely:
Assist concessionaires in advancing operational needs via C3’s advancement toolsParticipating in festival production meetings leading up to the event and providing concessionaires with essential planning documentsFacilitate communication between concessionaires and festival operations teams to ensure required metrics are met for optimal food and beverage outcomesReview signage proofs and provide timely and critical feedback on accuracy, legibility and designReview POS menus, making sure they are properly set up for accurate reportingAttend festivals as needed to monitor concessionsOther
C3 is dedicated to innovation and exceeding customer expectations. The Concessions Manager is expected to assist in developing new ideas for food and beverage programs based on changing customer trends, emerging technologies and delivering profitability.
Additionally, the Concessions Manager will provide general support to the food and beverage team as needed.
