(C4I) Systems Engineer to support Foreign Military Sales (FMS)

. The Senior C4I Systems Engineer will support and provide knowledge, design and integration efforts working with the prime contractor to ensure combined services Common Operational Picture (COP) design efforts are maturing. This will include but not limited to Understanding:

C4I product interfaces for combined services data exchangeTactical Data Link (TDL)  Military Standards (MIL-STD 6016, MIL-STD 6017, MIL-STD 6020)Knowledge of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) processesSea, Air, Land Order of Battle (OOB) capabilities and limitations in an operational environment

Roles and Responsibilities:

Perform analyses of current and future communications and networking problems, derive results from modeling and simulation tools, develop data-driven actionable recommendations, and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.Perform systems engineering, analysis, and modeling & simulation.Support planning and execution of the work, assisting teams, and developing and presenting results to the prime contractor.Identify additional project opportunities to expand the technical work portfolio through sponsor and internal engagement.

Basic Qualifications:

Provide technical expertise in C4I requirements analysis, design, development, integration and installation of C4I products to support and align with the PMW-740 FMS caseFamiliar with standard engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.Demonstrates reliable experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsWork with stakeholders to understand system interface requirements in the technical interchange meetings for current and future C4I requirements.Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field – preferably electrical engineering, radar engineering, systems engineering, data analytics, artificial intelligence or equivalent; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with relevant experience who can immediately contribute at this job step.

The likely salary range for this position is $105,622 - $101,200. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
