Our Denver location is seeking a CAAS Staff.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Prepares and records standard journal entries for asset, liability, revenue, and expenses by compiling and analyzing the general ledger account information. 

Maintains and balances accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies. 

Researches and makes correcting journal entries for account discrepancies, prepare closing journal entries, posts accrual entries, and prepare required management reporting. 

Prepares assigned portion of the monthly and annual financial statements and disclosures. 

Completes bank reconciliations and merchant service statements, monthly. 

Assists with the preparation of audit workpapers and answer audit questions. 

Completes local business and compliance filings. 

Prepares analysis of revenue and operating expense sections, including narratives. 

Records business transactions into ERP system (Cash, A/P, PPE, general journal entries, etc.). 

Assists in the preparation of tax documents. 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

Bachelor’s degree required – Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred.  

General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data. 

Willingness to learn new technologies, including QuickBooks, Yardi, Xero, and Sage. 

Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products. 

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites. 

Compensation Strategy Statement
Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth.  We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people.  Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.  These same factors may cause starting pay to be below or above the posted range. 

The wage range for this position is: $70,000 – $88,000
