Summary: Seeking a Cabinet Finisher II with experience in wood finishing and familiarity with Gulfstream inspection and process specifications for preparing and finishing aircraft furniture.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED Two years of experience in wood finishing Basic knowledge of cabinet finishing processes and products Working knowledge of Gulfstream inspection and process specifications

Preferred Skills:

Experience in the aerospace industry

Responsibilities:

Prepare furniture for finish and disassembly using blueprints, aircraft specifications, and design/engineering drawings Perform high-quality repairs to finished surfaces in the shop and aboard aircraft Clean and polish blemishes to prepare aircraft for delivery Apply finish to furniture using spray equipment and other methods Utilize sandpapers, polishes, adhesives, masking mediums, solvents, finish materials, hand tools, and power tools for disassembly and finishing Comply with safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies; use personal protective equipment (PPE) Use material tracking system for parts demand creation, squawk tracking, and work sign-off

Pay Details: $18.00 to $23.00 per hour
