Cabinet Finisher II

Summary: Seeking a Cabinet Finisher II to prepare, finish, and repair aircraft furniture using various tools and techniques.

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required

Two (2) years experience in wood finishing

Basic knowledge of cabinet finishing processes and products

Preferred Skills:

Experience in aerospace industry

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare furniture for finish and disassembly using blueprints, aircraft specifications, and design/engineering drawings

Perform high-quality repairs to various finished surfaces in the shop and aboard aircraft

Clean and polish blemishes to prepare the aircraft for delivery

Apply finish to furniture using spray equipment and other manual/mechanical methods

Use various types of sandpapers, polishes, adhesives, masking mediums, solvents, finish materials, hand tools, and power tools to disassemble and finish furniture

Comply with all safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies; use personal protective equipment (PPE)

Use the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks, and sign-off work

Collaborate with lead technicians to develop process improvements that enhance safety and reduce costs



Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
