Cabinet Finisher II

Summary: Seeking a Cabinet Finisher II for the 2nd shift to prepare and finish aircraft furniture using various techniques and tools.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required

Two years of experience in wood finishing

Basic knowledge of cabinet finishing processes and products

Working knowledge of Gulfstream inspection and process specifications

Preferred Skills:

Experience in the aerospace industry

Responsibilities:

Prepare furniture for finish and disassembly using blueprints, aircraft specifications, and design/engineering drawings

Perform high-quality repairs to finished surfaces both in-shop and on aircraft

Clean, polish blemishes, and prepare aircraft for delivery

Apply finishes using spray equipment and manual/mechanical methods

Utilize sandpapers, polishes, adhesives, solvents, hand tools, and power tools for furniture finishing

Comply with safety, 5S, housekeeping policies; use personal protective equipment (PPE)

Use material tracking system for parts demand creation, squawk tracking, and work sign-off



Pay Details: $19.00 to $23.00 per hour
