Production Associate Accountabilities• Function as a participating team member.• Hand soldering of wires to electrical connectors and PCB’s.• Assemble electromechanical assemblies as required.• Review and complete required production documentation.• Update job status in EPICOR Systems as required.• Maintain a safe and orderly work area.• Performs related duties as required.Skills and Abilities:• Accurate visual acuity for color and depth perception• Vision sufficient to accurately measure in fraction of an inch• Manual dexterity to handle small hand tools including soldering iron• Read and understand moderately complex assembly instructions• Comprehend written and verbal assignments• Ability to work as a team member in a diverse work environmentAdvanced soldering and repair / rework skillsAbility to use solder extractor tools Basic computer skills - accurate with data entrySuggest ideas to improve efficiency• Good math skills with ability to count and measurePreferred Qualifications:• Experience in hand soldering of various type; solder cups, J-Hook, through hole• Proficient in most OJT processes in at least 2 production areas• Successful completion of OJT crimp training.• Successful completion of ESD and solder training (if/as required).• Able to comprehend written and verbal instructionsRequired Qualifications:Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GEDPhysical Activity Requirements:Work Environment: Production environment where the noise level is generally moderately noisyWork Position: Primarily sittingBody Movements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawlWeight Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 20lbsSensory Requirements: Vision, speech, hearing, smell, and touch are routinely used in day to day functions
