JOB DESCRIPTION:
Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems Works from documentation, written or verbal instructions, schematics, rough sketches, diagrams, layouts, and plans often requiring interpretation and application of comprehensive knowledge and practical understanding of electronic theory and principles. Responsibilities include wiring harnesses, crimping cable assemblies and soldering connectors to IPC-620 standards. Recommends modifications to engineering designs as necessary. May assist in the electrical testing of wiring harnesses. Employee is normally assigned in the cable manufacturing area. Managers set the specific duties and responsibilities for each employee.) SCOPE: Receives detailed instructions on all work. PROBLEM COMPLEXITY: Works on assignments that are routine in nature where limited judgment is required. IMPACT: Contributions are usually limited to assignment related activities. LIAISON: Interacts daily with supervisor and peer groups. Works is closely with supervisor. Follows specific, outline, and detailed procedures. TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Typically requires a high school education or equivalent and less than 1 year of related experience. Direct experience with ADNS, Work station, and DVSS project.

U.S. CitizenPrior relevant work experience.Strong communication and analytical skills required.Strong organizational skills.Ability to prioritize work and meet strict deadlines.Attention to detail is critical. Ability work through issue with all levels of team membersAbility to lift 50 poundsAssembling hardware per IPC-620 specifications and customer specifications.Crimp and build cable assemblies.Desirable Skills:

Pay Range:Pay Range $34,450.00 - $62,275.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
