Our client, a leader in cloud computing technologies, is seeking a Computer Hardware Technician to join their team. As a Computer Hardware Technician, you will be part of the datacenter technical support department, supporting various teams in maintaining cutting-edge server technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Cable Technician **Location:** New Albany, OH **Pay Range:** $25/HR on Experis W2 **Schedule:** + 12-hour shifts – 3 days one week, 4 days next week + Day shift: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM EST + Night shift: 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM EST + Sun-Wed (Front Half) / Wed-Sat (Back Half) **What's the Job?** + Provide technical support to end users via phone, email, and in-person. + Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues. + Document, track, and monitor issues to ensure timely resolution. + Follow standard procedures and pre-established guidelines for support requests. + Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktop and laptop systems. + Perform basic cabling tasks including running, terminating, labeling, and testing Ethernet cables. + Support moves, adds, and changes (MAC) of user equipment and network drops. + Escalate complex technical issues as needed following company protocols. **Qualifications:** + Associate’s degree in a related field preferred. + 0–3 years of experience in IT support or a related role. + Familiarity with technical support practices, Windows OS, and networking fundamentals. + Basic knowledge of low-voltage cabling standards and tools. + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to work under supervision and follow detailed instructions. **What's in it for me?** + Work on the latest cloud computing server technology. + Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage. + 401K plan for your financial future. + Potential to convert to a permanent role with this global company. + Opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
