**WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:** As a CAD CAM programmer, you will be responsible for creating and modifying programs that control the automated machinery used in manufacturing. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will be integral to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the manufacturing process. **You will be:** • Developing and writing CNC programs for turning, milling and other machining processes using Cad/Cam software • Optimizing CNC programs to improve machine run time, quality and overall efficiency • Perform thorough testing and validation of programs before implementation on machines • Maintain programming documentation and keep it up-to-date for future reference • Setting up new products and defining the best production methods • Designing processes, materials, tools, and systems to reduce waste and improve the output • Conducting research and applying new knowledge and tools • Challenging tool suppliers to keep improving their tool performance • Implement a new Cad Cam system • Analyzing the tool use on the different CNC machines to provide improvement plans • Train en educate the teams **YOU HAVE:** • Minimal MBO degree in Engineering • Experience in creating and modifying CNC programs for various machines • Extensive knowledge of ESPRIT is preferred • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members • Ability to effectively communicate with suppliers • Fluent Dutch and English speaking At nVent, we connect and protect our customers with inventive electrical solutions.
