Our Parsons Oakland/ San Francisco  office is now hiring for a  Senior CAD Designer to join our team! In this role you will get to work with a team of engineers and other drafters using MicroStation , Autocad Civil 3D, and Revit to create engineering drawings supporting transportation infrastructure projects in The Bay Area , California

 You will be supporting clients such as BART, and local city and county transportation systems.

 Hybrid remote work allowed ( meaning ability to work from home 2-3 days per week) . This role supports rail and transit projects , and is based out of our Oakland office.  

What You'll Be Doing:

Work with a team of engineers and other drafters to create drawing packages for transportation construction projectsDesign work for rail transit projects for BART and other local regional clients Use  design software from the Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley Open Roads Designer or Microstation suites, depending on client requirements, as well as Revit.Check your work to adherence to client CAD standards and engineers’ markups

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

2-year technical degree or other related certification of completion from an accredited designer/drafter course (or equivalent) is preferred, and typically  5  years or more of related experience.Experience supporting transportation infrastructure, inclusive of rail & transit is highly desirableProficiency with  Microstation and  Autocad Civil 3D software is essential, Revit is a plus !

Salary Range: 

$29.42 - $59.33
