As a CAD Detailer, you will provide support to the Production Engineering Department by creating fabrication, assembly drawings, and bills of materials for custom “Engineered to Order” mechanical HVAC equipment. This role requires using AutoCAD and other design programs to execute production engineering tasks such as wall details, small weld details, and unit base pans. You will collaborate with design and production teams to ensure accurate and efficient design execution.Responsibilities:Create fabrication, assembly drawings, and bills of materials for HVAC equipment using AutoCADCommunicate with Design and Production Engineering teams to create and finalize fabrication drawingsAssist with work orders and distribution of drawings for production operationsContinuously improve knowledge of design methodologies and tools through self-educationPerform other duties as requiredQualifications and Requirements:Minimum of an Associate’s degree or 2 years of experience in a CAD or Engineering Technology environmentProficiency in AutoCAD; ERP knowledge preferredStrong communication, organizational, and math skillsBasic understanding of mechanical engineering design processesSheet metal or metal fabrication experience preferred but not requiredBenefits and Perks:$20 per hourMedical benefitsPaid holidaysTraining and growth opportunitiesYour New Organization:
