CAD Operator/Designer

Works independently using CAD equipment to create and modify drawings, sketches and diagrams for use by other departments and clients. Attends project meetings and converses with other subject matter experts to interpret design concepts, determine nature and type of required detailed working drawings, and coordinates work with others. Compiles data, computes quantities, determines materials needed, and prepares cost estimates. Verifies work for accuracy, completeness of work, and compliance to standards. Sets up and maintains an organized file system for projects. Communicates with internal and external personnel regarding new and revised drawings. Additional duties as assigned.

CAD Operator/Designer Details:

Temporary position$27.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 04:00pm)

The CAD Operator/Designer utilizes computer-aided drafting system to provide support to engineers, architects, design staff and clients by producing clear and technically accurate drawings based on design specifications.

CAD Operator/Designer Qualifications:

Works independently using CAD equipment to create and modify drawings, sketches and diagrams for use by other departments and clients. Attends project meetings and converses with other subject matter experts to interpret design concepts, determine nature and type of required detailed working drawings, and coordinates work with others.
