Kimley-Horn is looking for an experienced CAD Operator to join our TxDOT Survey team in Irving/Las Colinas, Texas (TX)!
Responsibilities Conduct Survey Abstract research for various survey projectsProcess field data files (points), use field sketches, photos, and reference maps to prepare surveys.Prepare deed sketches, abstract maps, subdivision plats, ALTA Land Title surveys, topographic surveys, easement exhibits and other various survey related maps using AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Carlson Survey.Prepare Parcel exhibits for right-of-way mapping projects using Microstation Power Geopak V8i and/or Open Roads DesignerPrepare Right-of-way Maps using Microstation Power Geopak V8i and/or Open Roads DesignerPrepare metes and bounds descriptions Coordinate work activities to maintain schedules and ensure quality controlDevelop familiarity with Kimley-Horn’s practices, procedures, and standards Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree preferred)3+ years of relevant experienceAdvanced knowledge and proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley productsDetail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starterStrong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learnAbility to work independently and with a team Why Kimley-Horn?At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
