CAD Programmer
Location: New Castle, PA
Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Pay: $37,440 per year (Negotiable based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Create accurate AutoCAD drawings based on prints or sketches

Program CNC burn tables using ProNest software

Maintain and update files using Microsoft Word and Excel

Track and document program changes

Collaborate with shop employees and troubleshoot issues related to manufacturing drawings

Support supervisors and assist in day-to-day tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For:

Strong blueprint reading skills and attention to detail

Proficiency in AutoCAD (2016 or later)

Experience with ProNest or similar CNC programming tools

Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multitask in a fast-paced environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Basic understanding of measuring tools and manufacturing processes

Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

CAD certificate or completion of relevant trade school program

Familiarity with shop tooling, fixtures, and heavy steel fabrication

Strong problem-solving and math skills (geometry, trigonometry, algebra)

Work Environment:

Office setting with regular interaction in a steel fabrication shop

May require extended sitting, walking, and reaching

Moderate to high noise levels in shop areas

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required

At least 1 year of AutoCAD experience

Must pass a drug screen
