Job Title: CAD Technician
Job Description

We are currently sourcing for a CAD Technician based in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience working as a drafter or in a similar role supporting natural gas projects, with a preference for those with survey experience. Experience with Civil 3D is essential for this role.

ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed CAD drawings for natural gas projects, particularly those involving surveys.Utilize Civil 3D software for drafting and design tasks.Support land development and engineering projects through precise CAD work.Collaborate with survey technicians and other engineering professionals to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.Essential Skills5+ years of CAD drafting, design, and technician experience.Direct experience working in the natural gas industry, specifically supporting survey projects.3+ years of experience with Civil 3D software.Associate's degree in a relevant field.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in CAD and design software.Experience as a survey technician.Familiarity with ALTA survey standards.Work Environment

The role is based in Houston, Texas, and involves working on natural gas projects. The work environment requires proficiency in Civil 3D and other CAD software, and collaboration with survey and engineering teams. The position demands attention to detail and adherence to project specifications. Standard office attire is expected.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
