POSITION
In this role, the Technician translates conceptual designs and ideas from clients, both internal and external, by using CAD software to create technical drawings and plans for a variety of civil engineering projects among various market groups within the company. These responsibilities include:
+ Creating detailed technical drawings and plans based on sketches, specifications, and other input provided by engineers, architects, and/or clients.
+ Translating concepts and ideas into precise, accurate drawings and models using CAD software.
+ Preparing documentation packages, including drawings, plans, and specifications, for review, approval, and construction purposes.
+ Collaborating with engineers, architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that design requirements and specifications are met and communicated effectively.
+ Gathering and interpreting design development feedback from project engineers through redline markups.
+ Review drawings and models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards, firm standards, and project-specific requirements.

YOUR STRENGTHS
+ Associate or Technical degree in Drafting or CAD Technology preferred
+ Design and/or construction experience, including multi-discipline engineering and/or construction work
+ Strong technical design skills
+ Proficiency with design software (AutoCAD, Civil3D, Revit, Plant3D)
+ Knowledge of design principles and standards
+ Understanding of survey data
+ Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients
