Job Title: CAD TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing CAD drawings for contract documents, maintaining drawing files, and creating graphics for engineering reports. This role offers a unique opportunity for long-term growth within a specialized field. Responsibilities + Prepare CAD drawings for contract documents based on input and guidance from design staff. + Maintain drawing files, sheet sets, CAD standards, and other digital files. + Prepare graphics for engineering reports, professional papers, and presentations. + Perform CAD drafting work including surface generation and manipulation, grading, site layout, structural drawing, and quantity takeoffs. + Participate in professional training sessions to develop and implement new skills related to job duties. Essential Skills + Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microstation, and Civil 3D. + Experience in grading, ground level design, steel-reinforced concrete, piping networks, and storm drainage design. + Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Drafting. + Strong drafting and design skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with SolidWorks is a plus. + Ability to work collaboratively within a team. + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Work Environment This position is fully in-office, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will be collaborating with a team located in the Alpharetta, GA office, which consists of approximately 25 people.
