Sodexo’s Corporate Services is seeking a Cafe Operations Manager for our premier Banking client in Lower Manhattan, New York.  

The Cafe Operations Manager oversees hospitality operations per Sodexo's and client's goals, directs customer interaction and management of the Sodexo hourly associates. This position will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction through exceptional food and catering services, while achieving set budgeted targets.  We seek a strong hospitality leader with a proven commitment to excellence in client and guest hospitality, teamwork, financial results, and collaboration to help us achieve our vision.

This location is open for Breakfast and Lunch Monday – Friday, and provides catering service five days a week inclusive of evening events.

What You'll Do motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline staff.provide stellar customer service.ensure company food and physical safety programs and standards are followed..direct daily operations of food quality & customer service in a retail food operation ensuring that employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resourcesmanage the opening and closing the operation as well daily retail food service operations.manage cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies. Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
