We’re a team of dedicated people driving this mission by providing better, faster, and cheaper ways to access food through technology.  Role overview We are looking for a Cake Decorator who will be responsible for designing and decorating cakes according to customers' specifications and preferences & providing suitable recommendations on cake decorations and designs, and packaging bakery items, managing inventory, ensuring cleanliness and proper sanitation while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Main Responsibilities + Creating and testing new cake recipes to meet customer demands. + Designing and decorating cakes according to customer specifications. + Managing inventory of ingredients and supplies. + Ensuring cleanliness and proper sanitation of the baking area. + Maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. + Creative ability with artistic skill in decorating cakes and other desserts. + Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately. + Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards. + Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers. + Check the quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking. + Create new dessert recipes, and test new flavors. Ideal Candidate Qualifications  + Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a bakery chef within the hospitality and catering industry. + Experience creating customized cakes for customers. + Proven experience as a pastry chef or baker. + Creativity and attention to detail. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge & Competency + Solid understanding of pastry and baking tools, and equipment. + Knowledge of ingredients and their properties. + Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management + Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress + Outstanding communication and leadership skills + Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes + Excellent pastry and cake decorating skills + Artistic and creative.
