About the Role:

As the Calibration Services Manager, you will own strategically enhancing and expanding OTT HydroMet’s solar calibration capabilities globally and driving thought leadership in the industry. This is an in-person role, based in Loveland, Colorado, with domestic and international travel up to 15%.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Lead & Inspire: Launch a new ISO-accredited pyranometer-calibration facility in Loveland, Colorado, and help build a brand-new team of calibration technicians to operate the facility.Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with Sr. Service Managers, Service Product Management, and our Solar and Meteorological Research & Development teams to grow our calibration capabilities and volumes and drive our calibration services strategy globally.Drive Success: Guide achievement of on-time delivery and revenue targets for our global solar calibration business.Be a Thought Leader: Attend global solar conferences to present on OTT HydroMet’s solar calibration technical advancements and support Sales in demonstrating our growing calibration capabilities.Support Our Customers: Support Technical Support in answering solar calibration questions, understand key value drivers of our customers and recommend better ways to add value, and ultimately ensure customer satisfaction.Champion Safety: Ensure a safe working environment, adhering to safety protocols around electrical and mechanical hazards.

Education, Background and Skill Requirements

Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or other technical discipline; ORAt least five years' experience in the solar energy industry, including a strong sense of global solar market trends.Demonstrated track record of achieving targets and delivering results.Excellent problem solver with strong, data-driven capability to continuously improve procedures, boost team capability, and solve customer problems.Preferred: Working knowledge of pyranometer calibration techniques and theory. Experience operating under or maintaining ISO 17025 accreditation, including managing the audit processes.Preferred: People management experience.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $87,000 - $118,000 USD per year. 

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
