Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Calibration Supervisor to oversee the calibration program within our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will manage calibration activities, coordinate with vendors, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Calibration Program Management:

   - Oversee and manage the calibration program, ensuring all equipment is calibrated in a timely and accurate manner.

   - Assign calibration tasks to technicians and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met.

2. Vendor Coordination:

   - Coordinate with calibration vendors to issue purchase orders (POs) and schedule both onsite and offsite calibration services.

   - Ensure that all vendor activities are performed in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

3. Preventive Maintenance and Calibration Tracking:

   - Follow up on site preventive maintenance and calibration work orders, ensuring timely completion.

   - Track and report monthly on the status of preventive maintenance and calibration work orders.

4. Work Order Administration:

   - Update the master data for preventive maintenance and calibration plans.

   - Ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date for audit purposes.

5. Calibration Failure Investigation:

   - Investigate calibration failures, identify root causes, and draft deviation reports.

   - Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of calibration issues.

6. Calibration Work Instruction Creation and Update:

   - Create and update work instructions for calibration procedures, ensuring they are clear and comprehensive.

   - Train technicians on new and revised calibration work instructions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in calibration management within a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment.

- Strong understanding of calibration standards and regulatory requirements.

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

- Proficient in using calibration management software.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
