Calibration Technician

If you're excited to be part of a winning team, you will be glad you applied here. **Job Summary** Responsible for performing accurate, timely calibration of measuring and test equipment (M&TE) in accordance with internal procedures, manufacturer specifications, and applicable quality standards such as ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540.3, or AS9100 and managing external calibration providers. This role ensures equipment used in manufacturing, inspection, and testing meets required accuracy and compliance criteria. **Responsibilities and Duties** 1. Schedule and perform various Measuring and Test Equipment calibrations. 2. Coordinate and manage external and onsite calibrations (RFQs, Purchase Orders) 3. Apply calibration labels to instruments to reflect calibration status 4. Coordinate with internal departments for scheduling and tracking calibration needs ensuring equipment is calibrated on time. 5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the calibration lab or workbench. 6. Review calibration certificates and maintain records in the calibration database (e.g., MeasurLink) 7. Assist with troubleshoot of test equipment issues. 8. Work with the appropriate Value Streams to upgrade outdated and unsupported test equipment 9. Identify and document equipment that is out of tolerance or in need of repair according to internal procedures. Escalate any issues that require upper management’s attention 10. Work with gas flows and basic flowmeter operation (materials: Nitrogen and Air) 11. Follow all safety and quality protocols and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. 12. Work with Quality Management on all QMS related issues including 3 rd party Quality system audits – related to Calibration topics. 13. Able to move about in a general industrial environment and Class 10k / 100 Clean Rooms. **Technical Knowledge/Skills:** 1. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in calibration and/or metrology 2. Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and/or ANSI/NCSL Z540 standards. 3. ASQ certifications a plus (Certified Calibration Technician) 4. Internal auditing experience a plus 5. MeasurLink experience a plus 6.
