Calibration Technician
Calibration Technician 1355376 A leading technology company is looking for a Technical Coordinator. The right candidate has hands-on experience working in a calibration lab. Calibration Technician Pay and Benefits: • Hourly pay: $26/hr • Worksite: Electronics Testing and Measurement Company (El Segundo, CA 90245) • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL • 40 hours/week, 24 Month Assignment Calibration TechnicianResponsibilities: • Calibrate and perform adjustments on Measurement and Test Equipment, Electronic and/or Mechanical • Use test automation platforms and software to calibrate Measurement and Test Equipment. • Perform manual calibration procedures on Measurement and Test Equipment. • Works on administrative assignments with clearly defined objectives according to prescribed procedures. • Communicate with internal teams to request work orders with specific requirements. • Communicate with external vendors to request service quotes and status requests. • Communicate with customers for issue resolution and response. • Physical movement of equipment up to 20 lbs. • Solve a broad range of service/ support problems varying in scope and complexity. Qualifications: • 3+ years relevant experience. • 2 year technical degree or equivalent training/certification is desired. • May require some higher education or specialized training/ certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Experience with database tracking and management systems. • Hands-on experience working in a calibration lab required. • Solid working knowledge of Windows OS and MS Office applications including Outlook and Excel. • Strong interpersonal skills to work with internal and external customers • Strong attention to details and organizational skills • Requires complete understanding of general and technical aspects of job. • Must maintain the ability to work in a team environment and provide responsive customer service to team members even with constant interruptions.
