Calibration Technicians perform calibrations, repairs, and installations of weighing equipment ranging from high precision balances at pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities to outdoor truck scales at concrete manufacturing facilities.Core Responsibilities of this RoleMetrology Technician: Scales, Balances, and MassBe a Provider of Best-in-Class ServicesMaintain Positive and Productive RelationshipsEssential FunctionsDevelop Core Understanding of Calibration and Repair ServicesShadow senior technicians and the service manager in the fieldAttend internal and vendor introductory training sessionsAssist with calibrations and repairs in tandem with senior techniciansMetrology Technician: Scales, Balances, and MassCalibrate scales and balances. Customer job sites range from clean-room, laboratory environments to outdoor, industrial manufacturing environments.Repair scales and balances. Repairs require both mechanical and electrical repair skills and specific knowledge of scale and balance technologies.Perform installations of equipment sold by Precision Solutions including scales, balances, industrial printers, and associated equipment.Perform test weight and mass calibrations at Precision Solutions’ onsite laboratory.Perform emergency scale and balance repairs as needed which may include nights and weekends.Be a Provider of Best-in-Class ServicesEnter data into Precision Solutions’ service order software in a timely and accurate manner.Learn about and maintain proficiency in the technical aspects of our products and services as well as related regulations, safety procedures, and industry best-practices.Perform all duties in conformance to Precision Solutions’ quality systemAttend training sessions or other meetings and conferences offered by Precision Solutions, ATS, our vendors, and others.Maintain Positive and Productive RelationshipsSustain prompt correspondence with coworkers and customers via phone and email throughout the work day.Maintain strong relationships with all customers through timely and accurate service execution, thorough communication, and a consistently professional demeanor.Actively look for ways to grow Precision Solutions’ and ATS’ business while setting our customers up for success.Establish, nurture and, maintain positive, solid and productive relationships with all Precision employees.Job RequirementsMust be able to repeatedly lift 50 lb. and work in various customer environmentsMaintain a valid and clean driver’s license and driving recordExceptional customer service and problem-solving capabilitiesComfortable with Microsoft Office including OutlookAbility to learn custom software applicationsProficient in electronic and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and repairsMust be able to pass a drug and background checkCDL is a plus
