Description:You will be the Calibration Technician responsible for performing calibration tasks on a wide range of measurement and test equipment. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the accuracy and precision of our equipment, and we're seeking a skilled technician to join our team.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for calibrating electrical, electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, dimensional, and optical measurement and test equipment, as well as assisting Metrology Engineers with new procedures, equipment evaluation, and report reviews. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely and accurate calibration services.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Performing calibration tasks on various types of equipment
-Assisting Metrology Engineers with procedures, report reviews, and equipment evaluation
-Maintaining accurate records of calibrated items in the Calibration Management System
-Coordinating with equipment owners and other teams to ensure efficient calibration services
-Keeping work areas clean and orderly, and maintaining a safe working environment
-Originating and maintaining required calibration records, and training other technicians as needed

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
-High school degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of two years of experience in training or related position.
-Well-rounded knowledge of Metrology principles, and any of the following fields; electronics, dimensional gaging, mechanical forces, optics, and precision measurement, to include adjustment and repair, covering both theory and operation of standard test equipment.
-Ability to read and interpret complicated drawings, specifications, and schematics; use shop mathematics such as trigonometry and geometry; and use standard calibration equipment.
Desired Skills:
- 3-5 years of professional related experience.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
