Your Challenge
Maintain the Test Department Calibration and Gauge Control Program.
Calibrate instrumentation in house when applicable.
Coordinate with 3rd party vendors to calibrate all off-site calibrations.
Coordinate with 3rd party vendors to calibrate a batch of instruments on-site – support vendor while on-site.
Suggest/Implement upgrades to the Test Department Calibration and Gauge Control Program.
Maintain/create blanket POs yearly for calibrations.
Purchase materials required for the department to continue operating properly.
Support Test Department during endurance/extended tests.
Support/write updates to the Test Department Calibration and Gauge Control Program documentation and procedures.
Implement safety based upgrades.
Follow processes and procedures.
Follow scheduled workloads as needed within the test department based on upcoming test.
Participate in department improvement projects/ideas.
Handle department materials (piping, auxiliaries, non-production parts) using forklifts, cranes, etc.
Attend meetings (Safety, Training, All-hands).
What You Bring
Knowledge of NIST calibration and other calibration standards.
Experience with GagePack or other gauge maintenance/calibration program a plus.
Knowledge of instrumentation calibration.
Time management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical knowledge.
Knowledge of rotating equipment; familiarity with pressure, temperature, power, and vibration measuring instruments, understanding of pump hydraulic and mechanical principles.
Experience working with defense department quality control systems is desired.
General computer skills including MS Excel, Word, Outlook.
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain security clearances.
