The Opportunity:
In this role, you will report to an Onsite Supervisor and will work closely with the Avantor’s Lab and Production Services team of over 1,500 on- and off-site expert personnel and our customers to perform customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science.
Location: Malvern, PA, 19355
Schedule: 3rd Shift/ Sun–Thur 11:00pm - 7:30 am
Hourly Rate: $21.00/hr. + 15% shift differential ($3.15/hr.)= $24.15/hr.

What we’re looking for
Education: High School Diploma or GED required
Experience: Candidates should have a background in mechanics or a related field
Computer Proficiency: Strong computer skills are necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent Customer Service Skills; displays a professional can do attitude
High regard for safety, quality and adherence to protocols, policies and procedures
Ability to self-manage and self-motivate; forward-thinking
Ability to prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Ability to communicate effectively with both the customer and internal contacts
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
How you will thrive and create an impact
Avantor’s Lab and Production Services team is a crucial part of the Avantor Services group serving over 500 customers in biopharma, pharmaceutical, educational, industrial, and high-tech industries with customizable, flexible solutions and end-to-end laboratory operations support. In this role you will:
Perform calibrations for various machines, including pH meters and other laboratory equipment.
Responsible for ensuring all equipment is properly calibrated.
Collaborate with other associates to double-check calibration work. Record all activities in the Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN)
Open work orders and apply lockout tags if equipment cannot be calibrated.
Manage water bath changes, including draining, cleaning, and refilling.
Adhere to PPE requirements, including safety glasses, rubber gloves, lab coat, and steel-toe shoes.
