Call Center Specialist
Description We are seeking a Call Center Specialist for a short term contract employment opportunity in North Haven, Connecticut. In this role, you will play an integral part in our customer service operations, using your skills in handling inbound and outbound calls, customer service software, and CRM to provide excellent service to our customers. Responsibilities • Answer inbound phone calls promptly and accurately, adhering to all call center standards • Provide high-quality service while complying with corporate, regulatory, and audit guidelines • Utilize your problem-solving skills to take ownership of customer issues and resolve them completely and satisfactorily • Conduct outbound calling as directed for sales and service needs • Respond to member requests via web chat and email in a timely manner • Use your proficiency in Microsoft Office suite to maintain accurate customer records and process customer credit applications efficiently • Assist customers with benefit functions and use chatbot technology to improve customer service experience • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a call center or a similar customer service role • Proficiency in computer programs and CRM tools • Familiarity with customer service software • Experience in answering inbound calls and making outbound calls • Proven track record in assisting customers, resolving their issues efficiently • Understanding of benefit functions in a call center environment • Demonstrated ability in managing high volume of calls in a call center • Proficiency in email correspondence and managing customer complaints • Experience with chatbot interaction and management • Ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls effectively and professionally.
