Job Description:
Schedule - Monday through Friday 7am to 5pm
Answer, direct, and prioritize telephone calls and messages to correct clinic or departmentTriage calls according to priority and urgency, transferring calls as necessaryDocument all conversations, demographics to Electronic Medical Record timely and accuratelyObtain complete and accurate clinical, demographic and financial information during the scheduling processFollow guidelines for special requests/Stat/schedule modification procedures and coordinate communications with clinical areas to accommodate the customers requests.Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent, requiredAt least one (1) year experience in a call center or high volume call positionPreferred Qualifications
At least one (1) year experience in a medical field, preferredBilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, preferredPhysical Requirements:
Interact with others by effectively communicating, both orally and in writing.Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.See and read computer monitors and documents.Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies, bending, kneeling and reaching.Location:
