Call for Technical Experts, USAID/Armenia Food Security Activity

This
Proposal Opportunity:
Palladium seeks highly motivated and experienced
individuals for the anticipated USAID/Armenia Food Security activity. This
5-year activity will Increase domestic production of critical agricultural
value chains to increase food security and reduce dependence on imports through
the following result areas:
Result Area 2: Agriculture sector knowledge management
Result Area 3: Disaster Preparedness and Resilience
Result Area 4: Rapid Response/Windows of Opportunity
Duration: 5 years
Location: Armenia
Palladium
is seeking USAID professionals for positions related to technical
implementation, with experience in the following areas:
Agriculture value chain development and market systems
Agribusiness and access to finance for agriculture
*This is an
anticipated project, and all positions are contingent upon award from USAID. *
Key Competencies Required:
At least seven years’ experience in the implementation of similar sized USAID or other donor- supported programs in Armenia or similar context; 10 years’ experience for senior positions preferred.
Knowledge of USAID contract management, policies, procedures, regulations and reporting requirements.
Proven ability to develop and communicate a common vision among diverse partners and the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
Evidence of strong communication skills, both interpersonal and written, to fulfil the diverse technical and managerial requirements of the contract.
Fluency in English required.
