 This Proposal Opportunity: 

The USAID/Mozambique Renda Verde Activity is a 5-year activity that seeks to boost communities in leveraging the benefits of living in nature across key biodiversity conservation areas and to benefit local people through sharing of nature-based revenue. It will build tangible incentives for living with nature, seeking to catalyze the market and community benefits of human coexistence with wildlife in harmony across conservation areas, buffer zones, and key biodiversity corridors. The project aims to generate sustainable revenue streams from biodiversity conservation by combining market-driven strategies, nature-based solutions, and fostering economic growth. 

Palladium is seeking multiple experts to provide technical leadership in the areas of:   

Private Sector Engagement in sustainable livelihoods 
Nature-based Solutions 
Climate Finance  
Market Systems Development 
Community-based Ecosystem Management 
Coastal Ecosystem Management 
Gender, Youth, and Social Inclusion 
Grants Management 
Communications 
GIS/Information Systems 
Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) 
Collaborating, Learning and Adapting (CLA) 

These positions will be based in Mozambique and are contingent upon funding availability and USAID approval.  

Key Competencies Required:

Master's Degree or higher in relevant related fields for the technical areas listed above. 
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant field of expertise. 
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with USAID or other donor-funded programs. 
Experience working in Mozambique or similar contexts. 
Ability to work as part of a team. 
Full professional proficiency in English and Portuguese is required. 
Mozambican Nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.
