Job Description To provide a warm, welcoming, aesthetically pleasing atmosphere while exceeding guest expectations by providing professional children's programs in Camp Amelia and Camp Amelia @ Night and our craft experience Responsibilities Oversee daily camp themes, properly complete and file waivers, registration, and recreation agreements, safely execute all field trips and excursions, actively engage with campers with structured games, activities, and crafts,o Work daily camp themes to include field trips, swimming, crafts, and activities by providing guest an outstanding camp experienceo Connect with guest to create take home keepsakes for our guestso To enthusiastically greet and converse with the campers and parentso Assist with routine cleaning of the Camp room and all toys and equipment (e.g. sweeping, cleaning, emptying trash, picking up towels and trash, organizing and inventory)o Answer phones with greeting and assist guests with any questions or reservationso Attend and participate monthly All Together Get Togethero Provide leaders inventory of supplies and creative ideas campo Engage guests of all ages in different ways to explore Omni Amelia Island and surrounding areas with a variety of optionso Maintain clear communication with associates and guestso Be knowledgeable of Omni's cultureo Actively participate in the assurance of the safety of all guestso Work holiday special programs as scheduled Qualifications o Tools and Equipment:o Equipment: Computer and programs to include ResortSuite, Xola and Outlook, A/V equipment to include speakers, microphones, basic tools to include drills, craft supplies and activity equipment to include snow cone machine, dry goods etc o Working Environment:o Interior and exterior with exposure to weather conditionso Expose to hot and cold temperatureso Camp Amelia, Craft hut, Pool deck, Beach, department storage areas, Nature center, Fitness center, walking paths and lobby areas. o Physical Job Requirements (for essential functions only)o Able to lift and lift up to 50 poundso Able to stoop, stand, push, pull and walk or stand for long periods of time Omni Hotels & Resorts is an equal opportunity employer - vets/disability.
