Summer Intern – Campaign Editorial
Haymarket Media, Inc. is seeking a summer intern to join the Campaign Editorial US team. This position is located in our New York, NY office, with three days on-site (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and a team flex day) and two days remote.
Job Overview:
The summer intern on the Campaign Editorial US team will play a critical role in the newsroom providing support to Campaign reporters. From assisting with programming for upcoming events to conducting research for editorial features, the intern will learn about the past, present and future of the advertising industry. Strong project management and communications skills are required here as the team receives timely pitches and typically work on tight deadlines – the intern will assist in flagging upcoming due dates and deliverables. There will be relationship-building and networking opportunities as the team frequently meets with ad agencies or brand executives for exclusives and industry events.
Responsibilities:
Organize and monitor upcoming deliverables for reporters
Conduct administrative tasks (booking rooms, sending calendar invites, recap emails when applicable)
Contribute ideas or insights in team brainstorms
Track pitches for opinion and thought leadership column and industry news for Movers and Shakers
Research industry chatter or buzzy cultural conversation to share with the team
Create an editorial concept ie: article pitch, series, podcast idea, etc (optional)
Skills and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and administrative experience
Qualifications include:
Bachelor’s Degree
Interest in marketing and advertising
Proactive

What We Offer:
Location: NYC
Salary: $16.50/hr.
Start Date/ Duration: June 16, 2025 to August 15, 2025 (9 weeks)
Schedule: 32 hours a week; Hybrid; Summer Fridays
