Campaign Manager (Health Communications)

The Campaign Manager shall be experienced managing a large, multi-task communications campaign contract, including schedule, budget, and execution, with a particular focus on quality, outcomes, and deadlines. Daily coordination between the customer staff and contractor staff requires that the Campaign Manager work in hybrid fashion at the CDC facility in Atlanta, GA. The Campaign Manager shall have a minimum of ten years of experience developing complex advertising campaigns including, but not limited to, overseeing formative research activities, developing and implementing communication and marketing plans, producing a variety of communications products for different audiences, strategically engaging partners, coordinating the placement of paid and donated media, providing technical assistance support, and conducting digital and social media activities. Additionally, a firm understanding of health communications and health behavior change campaigns is required.
 

Basic Qualifications/Experience

Bachelor’s degree or above from an accredited college or university

10+ years of relevant professional experience

5+ years of experience in consulting project management with large (> $100 M) programs

Experience with CDC program/project management

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

Project Management Professional (PMP) or related certifications

Master’s degree in communications, public health, social sciences, or associated disciplines a plus

Experience with CDC program/project management

Knowledge of CDC culture and processes

Experience with health promotion campaigns

Prior award-winning campaign experience a plus

Experience engaging specialized populations (e.g., low-income, LGBTQIA+, racial/ethnic minoritized)

Professional Skills

Knowledge of CDC culture and processes

Proficiency with project management tools, such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar systems, as well as SharePoint

Excellent oral and written communication skills required

Strong interpersonal skills

Strong leadership, organizational skills, and attention to detail

Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work collaboratively and establish strong working relationships with colleagues and clients

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$105,353.00 - $216,712.00
